Stevie is getting around!

Hallelujah!!!! Stevie's been sleeping 10-12 hours straight the last few nights and taking 2-4 hour naps during the day.  His brand new clothes are already starting to get too small. I hope he keeps it up because I'm feeling great. I'm like super mom right now getting things done. He's also eating like a bear so I've been trying to cut back on baby food costs by making food for him. He can stand now on his own for a second but then gets scared and sits down. I'm pretty sure he's about to start walking.Yay!!.......I think. He doesn't say many words except Ma and Da but he's noisy and yells and sings all day. Oh and he dances to music sometimes now which is so cute.

Here he is trying to help me with our expenses for 2012.  He takes this very seriously as you can see.

Stevie knows it's important to meet that April 15th deadline. Work, work, work!

He loves getting into the pantry which I don't mind because its safe and the kitchen is where most of my work takes place anyway.

We went to the park this weekend because the weather was finally somewhat warm. Apparently everyone in town had the same idea though because it was packed. It's perfect though because it's about a 15 minute walk from our house and I can go to the store on the way! It has lots of different activities for kids and has different sections for different age groups. I think Stevie and I will be there a lot this summer.

These girls were really sweet and played with Stevie at the see saw.

If you haven't noticed Steve and Stevie are thick as thieves. Steve can't wait until Stevie is old enough to fish when the weather is good. For now they'll just have to hang out at the park.

February is a Long Short Month!

We've had a really busy February so far. We just got back from our longest trip ever.  First we flew to Arizona so Steve could hunt pigs with Big Steve.  He didn't get any though :(.  Then we flew to LA for Steve's company award ceremony where he cleaned up a lot of 1st place awards. Stevie and I went to Newport Beach and went shopping with Aunt Bonnie while Dad went to meetings all day. Then we drove from LA to Oakdale to hang out with Stevie's O'Brien cousins.  Then drove to Sacramento to see my sister's new baby ( I forgot to take pictures there though).  We were gone 10 days!! I can't believe we made it intactHere are some highlights.

This is Stevie kneeling with Dad for prayers the night before we left. So sweet!!

Stevie always makes his way into our bed when we travel. I took this at about 5am. I couldn't sleep because Stevie likes to put his head against Dad and kick me all night.

A man of many talents

Here we are all dressed up.

Steve took Stevie on stage with him to receive his awards. We had a lot of fun.

Finally, we were all so happy to be home sweet home!

January has been busy!

"Did someone say debonair?"

Stevie is so happy all the time. I think I got it really easy this round. He's getting so big. He gets into everything and is now standing up on furniture. He's very affectionate andplayful. He's growing fast all of the sudden and seems to eat more solids everyday. He likes everything except chicken in gravy. That made him barf. He also has six huge teeth and I think another on the way. He says Dadda and is almost saying Mom. He has yelled at me a few times when he wanted attention. So cute!

We took a trip to Tucson so Steve could go pig hunting. Stevie is really good on flights and makes friends with everyone sitting around us.

Both Steve's got one but they weren't big enough so we're going back in February.

Stevie can't actually ride this yet but he'll sit on it and hang on.  He looked the part though.

Christmas Time 2

Sorry I'm so lame at this guys but atleast when I do update the blog I put lots of pictures. Here are some more pics that didn't make the Christmas card cut. They were done in October but I didn't want to post them until after I sent cards.

Here's the gingerbread village Bonnie, Lori and I made. I've never made them before and it was so much fun. Bonnie won first prize with the one in the middle.

SSSHHH!! Christmas Eve. Stevie was good and went to bed right away so Santa could come. He slept six hours straight. Best Christmas gift I got.
He woke up early Christmas morning to see what Santa brought. He loved the paper best.

Stevie loved all of his gifts but he liked the dog he got from Grandma Watts the best. They fought on the floor together for a long time.

Steve's deer he shot Christmas Day. Happy Birthday Jesus!

Here he is with his cousin Franny from my side. He was having a hard time not being the only baby. Franny is one of almost four and knows how to handle the pressure better. She tried to comfort him.
